Our pod designed a mentorship program that will connect grade nines with a grade twelve mentor to provide academic and social support during their transition into high school. Our pod identified that skipping and failing classes was an issue at Emery. A program that connects students with each other through mentoring will make youth feel more intrigued and engaged in attending and learning at school.
